Pulse University – the famed college which only allows a chosen few to join its student body. Potential students must show exemplary mastery of a particular skill, enough to be labeled as possessing an Ultimate talent. For the lucky few who are accepted into its program, Pulse guarantees success for all of its graduates in their chosen fields of study. Attending the school is an opportunity anyone would dream of.
At least, it was.
